What do stakeholders expect from the Cybersecurity Competence Network Centre pilot projects?

EU institutions are intensively discussing the EC proposal for a regulation establishing the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre and the Network of National Coordination Centres. At the same time, four pilot projects are starting to experiment on core building blocks of the proposal, such as Cybersecurity governance in Europe, the application of Cybersecurity research to critical industry sectors, the availability, evaluation and usage of open tools for Cybersecurity, and the creation of a Cybersecurity research roadmap.

CyberSec4Europe is one of those four pilot projects. As part of its Kick-off meeting on February 28 CyberSec4Europe is organizing a high level panel “What do stakeholders expect from the Cybersecurity Competence Network Centre pilot projects?” including representatives of the EP, the European Commission and the EDPS. The panel is followed by a reception and poster exhibition of some of the activities CyberSec4Europe is starting now.
