Prof. dr. Eleni Kosta is gespecialiseerd in privacy- en gegevensbeschermingsrecht (GDPR), e-commerce, e-government en mensenrechten.

Academische activiteiten en lidmaatschappen

Eleni is hoogleraar ICT-recht en mensenrechten aan de Universiteit van Tilburg in Nederland.

In 2011 promoveerde ze tot doctor in de rechten aan de KU Leuven met een proefschrift over het begrip toestemming in het gegevensbeschermingsrecht, met als titel Unravelling consent in European data protection legislation - a prospective study on consent in electronic communications.

Ze heeft ook de volgende academische functies en is lid van de volgende organisaties en commissies:
